Frequently Asked Questions

What is PodHub?

PodHub is a web based podcast aggregator for both audio and video podcasts. It allows you to makage your feeds in one place, and makes subscribing (and unsubscribing) shows painless.

Why do I need an invitation?

To keep things somewhat exclusive while developing and testing. PodHub is still in beta, and unleashing the world on it before all the bugs have been ironed out is probably a bad idea.

Why did you create PodHub?

PodHub was written to scratch an itch. My podcast collection was growing, and none of the clients I tried were able to neatly tell me when the latest episode was aired. Adding and removing feeds was also a hassle.

The aim is to introduce a social aspect to the world of podcasting, allowing you to easily share interesting podcasts with friends and family, as well as making it easy to find and subscribe to shows.

What does "Catch Up" do and how do I use it?

If you select one or a number of episodes from a podcast, and then click on the "Catch Up on Selected Episodes" the selected episodes will be pushed on top of your public feed and remain there for a week (by default - this can be changed in the feed settings).
