That's right! CatchUp is now officially implemented. That means you can cherrypick a shows episodes before deciding whether it's worth subscribing, or just listen to the first 50 episodes of your favorite podcast while it is on hiatus.

Report any bugs you may encounter :)

Note: Until the custom lists are fully sorted your catchup items will end up in your public feed. This is probably not really a problem tho, but it will get fixed nevertheless :)

UPDATE: You now need to select the option "Catch up to my public feed" in your account settings to use this option.

There is now an option available under your account settings to select the preferred view mode (list or details). If you like the shiny details view with the icons in it, go ahead and make that your default :)

Note that you can still switch list modes while browsing, the option only affects the defaults.

The feed engine has been updated tonite, implementing support for extensions such as iTunes metadata, WellFormed Web comment feeds. This will eventually lead to comments being fetched from the website publishing the podcast, which could be interesting.

There has also been a few changes made to PodMuncher, our own aggregator tool, such as properly respecting the RSS time-to-live specification. Previously it defaulted to a 60 minute update interval, but that is now properly adjusted if the feed includes the time-to-live value.

Amazingly PodMuncher have been working for quite a while without a pretty essential feature: It couldn't handle a feed that didn't parse correctly. This has now been fixed. So we're back to full speed ahead.

These changes have been tested and should hopefully not cause any problems.

We've got a bit of turbulence up ahead as we are implementing a new fresh design, and with it a number of long awaited features such as a search box, privacy settings, feed lists and a number of additional changes.

This should be done within a few days, so fasten your seatbelts and sit tight. We intend to keep the site fully functional while we are tweaking with this, so hopefully nothing should break. If it does, just drop a mail at feedback(at)noccylabs.info and let us know.

The "Subscribed Feeds" page have been replaced with a dashboard that besides showing the list of your subscribed feeds also lists the 14 most recently added feeds.

The dashboard will receive a bit more work, but the objective of it all is to highlight the new podcasts.

Thanks to Nannubest for pointing out the empty feed error :) It's being fixed, and I am also aware of some small screen resolution issues. These will be addressed shortly too.
